When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I understand that ...as far as deviations/submissions go...this is kind of a waste of viewers' time.
HOWEVER, input is requested. Nevermind the crappy border and poor color-quality. This is a slap-happy version of an older piece, rendered in simple crayons...shortly after the birth of my first daughter. DEPENDING UPON CRITIQUE of actual thematic and talent, it could be deemed worthwhile to clean up with a background and full canvas-color. If I need to correct anything, style or anatomically speaking, please speak up now or forever hold your pieces, ah ha. Comments

Against his will, he's blackmailed into escorted Kimi cross-country. Raevyn coerces him into teaching her how to defend herself from Akiramaru. She's a slow learner, but she gets it, eventually.
She nicks him, when he wasn't prepared. And as usual, he's verbally abusing her. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't sell my work, I proudly fav*-n-dash, I applaud Trolls, and I think ED is brilliant. I don't have GIMP. Definitely not photoshop. My composite computer couldn't handle the memory-span that those programs require. In fact, I have to purge any scans with a large KB resolution, or my computer will freeze. GoForth offered to install PS for me, one time, and I practically hyperventilated over the prospect of it crashing my computer. Anything I do (which is usually restricted to borders) comes from photobucket-editing. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't sell my work, I proudly fav*-n-dash, I applaud Trolls, and I think ED is brilliant. You do this with frikin crayons, I know people who insist that this couldn't be done with crayons, I just wish I could show them these pics... just to watch them stutter. Critiques
Since you use such hard lines in contours and outlines for your characters, I feel that deeper shading, and having a definite light source(s), would bring out the roundness of the cloth and body parts, and giving more visual "life" to the characters.
Also, because I'm an anal bitch, (this part doesn't need to be taken seriously!) I would personally like to see more detailing with the facial features, specifically the eyes, mainly the irises and waterline. Because I'm obsessed with detailed eyes. I do love how you have those long, beautiful eyelashes, though. Those are amazing, and I hope they never leave your work.
I don't feel that I should critique on anatomy, because it's already spot on.
Relating to anatomy, the only thing that really sticks out at me is Sascha's face. The nose seems to slope outward perhaps a bit too much, or maybe it's that his brow is too receded. I really like how Kimi is posed, the form looks great and she looks balanced too, not like she's going to topple over or anything. XD Her foot looks a tad off because I think I only see the big toe which would be on the inside in her case?
Sascha's structure and weight balance seem very solid, and I think that's due to you positioning the arms like that. I love the way his body twists. I think you should fiddle with the knife wound a bit more though, make it look deeper, 'course you can do that with shading when you touch this up. And if it was me, I'd add more blood... but I like to go overboard with it myself... so that may be up to you.
I think it's worth touching up, go for it! ^^d
