The coloring process took five days of down-time at work...at an hour session apiece. Now...for those of you who are as confused by math as me...that's five times an hour. That's five freaking hours, man. So...no one-word spammage on this baby, or I swear to gods I'll hyperventilate myself into an aneurysm.

'Ascension' is a depiction of a premonition...a vision inspired by Lycaetris that gives Kimi insight toward Sascha's alleged impending demise. Ironically, despite the Orchid Lord's true intent, it only brings her closer to the sikaurai warrior.

Yes, folks...the Orchid Lord is a man.

Pretty, though, isn't he?

You know back when this was in it's first stages that I said it was one of your very best, well, it still is. The amount of time you put into this pic is evident, it's very detailed and beautiful.

I love all the colours you used, they flow very nicely with each other. My favorite in this picture's gonna have to be Lyceatris, you coloured his skin very nicely and it's almost like he's glowing! He's the brightest thing in this piece, but he's still kind of ominous. :) Plus, he's got a light purple shade to him. That always makes me happy.

one of your better backgrounds, even the freaking grass looks great. sascha's eyes could have been better they take away from the seriousness of the pic. the evil ravens remind me of an illusion in naruto only less cheezy and more Miasma-like. the Orchid lord came out very beautifly in particular.

Thanks, man...like I said, before, that means a lot to me. I put my heart into this one.

My prisma skill is still in its experimental stage...I try new things every day, and I hope my gallery will continue to expand with good results through trial-and-error. In the interim, this pic is my baby. So I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks, man. The grass slayed me, actually--how freaking tedious. I'm not sure how I could have made Sascha's eyes better (his lashes being my trademark signature)...but I guess in retrospect, you're probably right. And thanks for the kudos on Lycaetris. That means a lot.

The Orchid Lord is drop dead gorgeous! You have such fun, original characters.
I fell in the love with the crows/ravens on the right side of the page, they are beautiful. And last but not least, I admire the amount of time and beautiful coloring you put into this piece; you can really see it.

Thank you kindly for that; I appreciate it. I struggled with how to approach the birds. Aside from my Death and Dream pic, I've never rendered a bird, before, and I blended with a white crayon because I was afraid that the hues would be too dark for the scanner to pick up.

As for Lycaetris, my orchid lord--thank you! He doesn't have the same following as my Sascha, though, and that frustrates me, sometimes.
